  1. I love old pictures and books, too! My weakness is old postcards. I’m pretty sure I’m physically incapable of entering an antique store without buying an old postcard. I especially love when they’re used and have real notes (instead of just “merry Christmas!” or whatever) scrawled in old-timey handwriting. *swoon*

  2. I love this idea! I get nostalgic about the history of buildings. (I think I was an architect in another life.) I was so excited when I found a 1924 penny when we were digging our garden last summer, we also found a lot of broken cups and glass bottles. I would love to know more about the history of my house. I need to find a good picture to retrofy!

  3. I’m like that with old books. I have my one special one that is about a hundred years old (though not worth anything) which has pages that weren’t cut right and are still joined to the next one at the top. I just love how they look.
